Esperanza Peru did a wonderful job of providing additional activities allowing me to immerse myself in the Peruvian culture, but allowing plenty of time for exploring on my own. While in Huancayo I volunteered a few hours a day at the local Orphanage assisting with activities, took spanish clases, visited markets and took weekend trips!!!
