HUANCAYO: It is one of the 5 importante cities in our country, Huancayo is located in the central Andean mountains at an altitude of 3270 meters (aprox. 11,000 ft) above sea level. It has a population of approximately 450,000 people. with warm sunny days and chilly nights.Unlike other localities in Peru, Huancayo does not have archaeological remains as a tourist attraction famous for its main attractions being the work of its artisans and scenic recreational tourism. |

PUBLIC TRANSPORT: The bus terminals within Huancayo are a little spread out, but usually quite easy to find and relatively close to the city centre. Much of the bus transport offered in Huancayo does change per season, and in general, those intending to travel for a long distance are strongly advised to purchase the best seat possible, to ensure at least some level of comfort.
