Stay with a local Peruvian family to discover what dailiy Peruvian life is really like. you can choose between a middle class Peruvian Family in Huancayo or a family from the village itself.

Homestay

This option gives you a unique experience of living with a traditional Peruvian family learning in real life their culture and customs. You will also learn more about Peru and you will be able to actively practice Spanish. You will have a private bedroom and all the commodities of a home to make you feel like one of the family members.
This option includes full board – three meals a day and for vegetarians a special diet.
The families are carefully chosen and controlled by regular inspections and the observations made by the volunteers themselves.

Homestay –village:

An option similar to the one above, with all the benefits, but with the difference that it is located in the rural zone of the Mantaro Valley, thus making the experience of living with a Peruvian family even more rich and profound.

The rural zone has its own peculiarities, its proper culture and costumes which differ from the big cities. You may take part in different activities from farm work to learning crafts and folklore depending on your interests. The villages are not very far from the city and all are connected by a good public transportation system.
